Pontiac Meals on Wheels is a community-based service that provides fresh, nutritious meals delivered directly to the homes of senior citizens in the Pontiac area. PMOW receives funding under contract from the Area Agency on Aging, Region 1-B in Southfield, Michigan. This funding is provided under the Federal Older Americans Act and the State of Michigan Office of Services to the Aging.

 

With the help of Meals on Wheels programs, seniors get the nourishment and human connection needed to support daily activities, while reducing the need for medical support.

In addition to the home delivery program, we also offer a congregate service. This program is for the active senior. Currently, there are two locations in our service area where seniors gather to enjoy great meals and the companionship of friends.
